Jeju Island


          
Many attractions in south korea one place that should not be missed is the jeju island. Jeju island which is also called Doi, Dongyeongju, Juho, Tammora, Seomna, Tangna or Tamra located in korea strait, southwest of South Jeolla Province and southern Korean peninsula that used to be the province before the split in 1946.
        Jeju Island is the largest island in Korea was formed 2 million years ago by volcanic activity. In the middle of the island appears Hallasan (Mount Halla), the highest mountain in all of Korea with an altitude of 1950 m. The island is warm climates throughout the year and on a rare winter snow, so no wonder the plants that grow in temperate regions can survive.
Because of its natural beauty make jeju island as a tourist attraction that is very popular in korea than that island plants grown i by more than 1,700, making Jeju dubbed as the "Island of Botany" for its rich flora diversity.
        Autumn, is the most appropriate season to enjoy the beauty of the beaches on the island of Jeju. In the fall of that too we can see migratory birds on the island of Ha-do. Besides Jeju widely used for setting-known Korean dramas like Full House, Princess Hours, Jewel In The Palace, Tamra The Island and many more attractive to tourists both at home and abroad.
