Hwaseong Fortress exceptional
or complex is
a fortress located
in Suwon, south of Seoul, South Korea. The fort
was built in 1794 and 1796 by King Jeongjo
of the Joseon Dynasty in honor of his father King Sado who killed his brother King Yeongjo.
Hwaseong supposedly built only for 34 months with a wall around the city of Suwon almost six kilometers long, making the fort was able to bring the tourists a taste of life past South Korea.
Located 30 kilometers from the south of the South Korean capital to various sites within the fort, making it a world heritage site by UNESCO since 1997.
